# Rate Limits

To ensure high availability and fair usage across our network, rate limiting is applied to all API requests. Rate limits are calculated and enforced on an account basis.

## Current Usage Limits

The standard usage limit is **100 requests per 10-minute window** per account. If your application requires higher rate limits, please [contact us](https://www.endole.co.uk/help/contact-us/?option=API) to upgrade your account.

## Exceeding Limits

If you exceed the allowed limit within the window, the API will reject subsequent requests and return a `429 Too Many Requests` HTTP response code until the window resets.
